Its dynamic capsule requires no batteries or phantom power, allowing straightforward connection to compatible recorders, mixing consoles, cameras, and audio interfaces equipped for microphone-level XLR signals.

A cardioid polar pattern concentrates pickup on sound directly in front of the microphone while reducing unwanted off-axis room noise. The end-address design allows close microphone placement and makes it possible to take advantage of the proximity effect for a deeper, fuller vocal tone.

The microphone provides a wide 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response for capturing vocal detail and character. Its integrated windscreen and pop filter help reduce breath noise and plosive sounds during close speech recording, while an internal shockmount helps isolate the capsule from handling noise and vibrations transmitted through a desk, stand, or boom arm.

Advanced internal shielding helps protect the signal from electromagnetic interference that can cause unwanted hum or buzzing. A balanced 3-pin XLR male output provides dependable analog connectivity for professional and home recording equipment.
